Photocell
vs. Time Clock
Photocell
–
1.
Is mounted directly onto sign so it will react to the
natural changes in lighting.
2.
Is cheaper than a Time Clock, both the unit itself and
installation.
Time
Clock –
1.
Is located in the building and requires an electrician to
run the wiring from the sign to the clock.
2.
If you lose power, the clock will have to be reset.
3.
If the weather turns gloomy, it will not automatically
turn your sign on for best visibility.
